Last year I exhibited a body of work titled The Rings of Saturn which was a series of landscapes photographed along the coast at Dover Heights in Sydney. Usually that would mark the completion of a project however that area seems to have some sort of gravitational pull on me and I have been hanging around there and doing more pictures.

It turns out the project is ongoing. One of the recurring motifs of the project is fences. It is very interesting to now be seeing a huge increase in the amount of fencing around the coast which is being put up to prevent people from going onto the beach and swimming in the ocean as a way of controlling the spread of coronavirus.
