Juli Balla gets creative with Aileen Marr in lockdown and captures fashion at its most magical, through a dream-like, eerie lense.

"I enjoyed the challenge of finding locations to juxtapose against each piece of clothing. I made a point of remembering favourite houses, a street corner, a tree, a bus stop...  on my walks and travels, to photograph when the right project came along. I wanted the images to be whimsical using some urban locations and some natural environments. Being inspired by the fashion and coming up with ideas for each shot was enormous fun. The rest was left to serendipity. Using only Australian designers was a great opportunity to bring focus to the local fashion industry at such challenging times. Showcasing the work of these designers was a rewarding experience."
