Tracks surfing magazine featuring Jack Robinson shot by Tim Swallow in Tahiti.

"After chatting with Jack Robinson earlier this year about working together he went on to have his strongest year ever, currently placed 2nd on the World Surf League leaderboard.

Jack is a fellow South Western Australian from Margaret River. He has a humble approach, is kind natured and well respected within the surfing community and beyond. These attributes made it easy to pitch the idea of us catching up in Tahiti to conduct the main feature interview and photo shoot with surf journalist and editor in chief, Luke Kennedy at Tracks magazine. Luke loved the idea, my tickets were booked and I was on a plane 36 hours later.

I spent a week with Jack and his wife Julia in the small fishing village of Teahupo'o, famous for one of the most powerful waves surfed on the planet. During this time I documented Jack's day-to-day routines as he prepared for the upcoming contest. On the first day we decided to give Jack a punk haircut and I feel like it really elevated the tone for the shoot."
