Andrew has been working on a personal project that was inspired by Gerry Wedd, a local potter, artist and surfer in Port Elliot, the beautiful coastal town in South Austrtalia where Andrew spent much of his childhood:

"Gerry has been working away in a studio in his beautiful backyard for years. I was interested in photographing the wider environment around there to see how it influenced what he was making. Port Elliot is a particularly beautiful coastal town on a beautiful bit of south Australian coast. The water and sky in that area are a very distinctive colour, and the ocean and surfing have always been a recurrent theme is Gerry’s work. I spent several summers there when I was a kid. I even named one of my kids after the place. Gerry is current making work for a show at The Jam Factory in Adelaide, which opens in July 2016 and will tour."
